SmokeShow Boudoir is  located at 900 S Kansas Ave in Downtown Topeka, Kansas. We are conveniently located 1 hour from Kansas City, Manhattan and Salina, 2 hours from Wichita and just under 3 hours from Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska.

Our studio usually books 6-9 months in advance. If you have a special date you would like to have your album in time for, such as holidays, wedding or a birthday, we recommend that your session takes place at least 12 weeks beforehand. 

We sure do! We offer Pre-Session Payment plans up to 12 months. They're interest-free and you can schedule them to be automatically drafted weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, making your dream session everything you want it to be! We'll go over these options on your complimentary consult call too. You can schedule yours at the bottom of this page or by going directly to the 'Contact' page.

All images, digital and printed, are sold separately from the session and creation fee. We want you to have the printed products that fit your tastes and lifestyle best and we want you to be able to choose the images you love the most!  It’s the best way to make sure your session is completely customized for you. 

We know you'll love your images and we love sharing when you let us.  However, your privacy is priority and we will only share them if you give us written permission. You are not required to though!

After your session, your images take approximately 14 days to be completely processed.  Printed products can take 6-8 weeks to arrive, depending on time of year and the volume of orders that our lab is processing.

All images that meet our technical standards for viewing receive our Signature Retouching. This includes removal of any blemishes, bruises, acne. Basically, anything that won't be there in 2 weeks, is removed. We do some skin softening and smooth indentations from panty lines or other garments. 

Anything permanent such as scars, birth marks or stretch marks, is processed according to your personal preference and will be discussed before you leave the day of your session. 

These are your images and we want you to love them! However, please keep in mind that we will not do body modifications that completely change your appearance. We want you to feel like it's still you in the photo! 

We have something way better than a client closet!!! 
We have our own lingerie boutique, Styled X Backstage, inside the studio.

You're always welcome to bring lingerie or other wardrobe pieces from home but we didn't want our clients having to share lingerie (YUCK!), so we did away with our client closet and opened the boutique in 2021! 

Once your session is booked, you'll have a $50 boutique credit added to your account and approximately 30 days before your session, you'll be able to schedule a wardrobe fitting & styling appointment with us. This is where you get to bring what you have at home and we can help you make final selections for your session, you can shop the boutique with our one-on-one assistance or mix and match what you already have with something new!

Not at all! Boudoir can have multiple looks. You'll receive our Session Preparation Guide to help you begin planning for your session. We have plenty of alternative ideas listed in there too! Some of our most popular alternatives are cozy sweaters, favorite band T's, Just The Sheets Sets or you can go completely nude! The options are really endless and we want you to be comfortable more than anything else. 

We get this questions a lot and we want you to know that your comfort and safety is our top priority!

A lot of our clients will use the wardrobe fitting and styling appointment as an opportunity to get some shopping time in with a girlfriend or make it a day date with their partner! This lets them get to know us and check out the space with someone who they feel safe with.

The only time we allow guests on session day is during hair and makeup. While shooting, we have several awesome local businesses downtown that your guest can check out so they're still close by. This allows us to minimize distractions and I promise, you will feel more comfortable without an audience.
