When Allison first reached out to us, she wasn’t doing it for anyone else- this was for her. “I wanted to experience the thrill of looking extra sexy for myself,” she said. And we were already obsessed. It’s exactly what SmokeShow is all about!
Like many women, Allison brought a few nerves into the studio with her. She admitted to being a little worried about the posing, things like falling over, or not having stretched enough (definitely relatable!). But the moment she walked in, the energy shifted. “The vibe Kayla had was amazingly warm and welcoming,” she told us. That nervous edge melted into comfort, and soon she was settling into a rhythm that felt natural, supported, and undeniably her. “Just the entire vibe of the studio made me feel so comfortable in my own skin.”
And then came the moment we live for…that first look at the images. “I fell outta my chair, basically. I was speechless because Kayla did such a fantastic job with my photos.” Watching clients see themselves through in a new light never gets old.
She walked out of the studio that day feeling beautiful. And now? She carries that reminder with her. “Whenever I’m having one of those not-so-pretty, stressful days, I look back at the photos and remember how strong I was to get pretty much naked in front of a stranger.” Her artwork, with rich colors and striking black-and-white images, is more than just a keepsake. It’s a mirror of her strength.
And the impact didn’t stop there. Allison let us know that she gifted images from her session to someone special and in her words, “They loved them!!”. But the most powerful part? What these photos mean to her, now. “They remind me of the confidence I gathered to do the session. They show me that I am beautiful and that I need to accept myself for who I am, inside and out.”
